There are several ways to wear this top. Pair it with floral jeans for those cooler summer nights and some Chelsea boots.
This tunic can also be worn as a dress with heels for a night out or with cutoffs for a day in the park or that music festival you have tickets for.
With a headpiece, gladiator sandals and a bold necklace this top is ready for any summer outdoor adventure.
A Few months back my school had a 1920’s Gatsby Masquerade ball.
I took this theme extremely seriously .
I started a Pinterest board you can find here. This board was filled with different trend reminiscent of the 1920’s.
Popular threads I found in twenties style was drop waist or shift styled dress, the illusion of short hair, pearls, and lots of glamour. Women were becoming more risky in their attire, raising the hem line and shortening the hair. And if I was going to a Gatsby themed party I of course had to watch the new Great Gatsby movie, which is one of my favorite. I drew a lot of inspiration from attire in that movie.
The ball itself was a blast, and here’s how myself and some of my friends went.
So when it comes to themed parties. Do your research and go all out! I wore a column dress (ASOS) and gold headpiece (ASOS), my mother’s pearl bracelet paired with tights and t-strap heels I found at a thrift shop. My friend dolled me up with some classic makeup and a faux bob to tie the whole twenties look together.
